Chuck Calloway
Safety Director
As Director of Safety, Chuck's primary responsibilities include the development and implementation of Summit's corporate safety program. Chuck is responsible for overseeing operational safety issues in field operations and administrative locations, conducting field audits and inspections, performing and supervising training for Summit personnel, maintaining OSHA standards and records, and investigating and reporting mishaps.
Chuck brings 30 years of construction safety experience to Summit, including positions in military and civilian settings.
Chuck received a master's degree in business and personnel management from Central Michigan University and a bachelor's degree in government and international relations from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School. He is OSHA certified via the 80-hour occupational safety and health course. Chuck is active in the National Safety Council, Northeast Florida Safety Council, Associated Builders and Contractors, Associated General Contractors and National Fire Protection Association.
